Objectives

The national consultant will team up with and work closely with the national officer in the area of SRH to position UNFPA stronger in the health sector by representing UNFPA at various policy and technical meetings, providing strategic guidance to identify CO SRHR priorities, providing technical assistance to programming when and where required. It is also expected that she/he will contribute to building partnerships to leverage financial and technical resources for accelerated achievement of UNFPA's transformative programme goals. The consultant is also expected to establish, nurture and participate in national and sub-national networks in this field.
