Family Planning Adviser (1 position) (Temporary Appointment – NOC), Job ID 17797 for 364 days (Kathmandu based), Deadline: Tuesday, 14 August 2018 by 5 pm Nepal time

Eligibility: Completed Advanced University Degree in Public Health or Medicine. At least five years of progressively responsible professional working experience in policy advocacy work and in managing health programmes, preferably with experience in sexual and reproductive health, family planning, supply chain management (SRH/FP/SCM); Current knowledge in decentralization of health system, of the federal context in Nepal, and of the latest developments in the field of SRH/FP/SCM is preferable; Good analytical skills and ability to interpret complex socio-cultural backgrounds as well as quickly obtain an overview of a variety of activities and approaches of national and international actors; Demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and team working skills and ability to establish harmonious working relations in an international and multicultural environment, both within and outside UNFPA.
