Young Achievers Award 2009 for the Youth Development Officer at UNFPA

'This award belongs to every youth' said Ms. Aradhana Gurung, Youth Development Officer at UNFPA Nepal as she received the Young Achievers Award 2009 from H.E. Mr. Thosapala Hēwagē, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Nepal.
During the event organized by The Today's Youth Asia (TYA) in Kathmandu on 28th March, 2009 she and Ms. Shitu Rajbhandari, Editor at WAVE magazine were both honored with the Young Achievers Award 2009.
Today's Youth Asia officially launched the 'Young Achievers' Awards (YAA) 2009' on 21st October, 2008 in Kathmandu. YAA aims to honor the promising young leaders, potential change makers and young achievers from diverse fields who have dared to dream and achieve.
